Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has promised a better Lord Ram temple in the Jharkhand capital.
He promised the same while speaking on the occasion of Ram Navami at Ram Janki Tapovan Mandir in Niwaranpur, the culmination of a procession that started from over 500 akharas through the Jharkhand capital and reached the venue via the main road.
"A few days ago, I laid the foundation stone for the temple beautification project for 13 crores. If necessary, more will be saved for the same amount. Next Ram Navami, you will see a temple with a difference in place,” said CM Soren. The capital city of Jharkhand has an old tradition of taking out processions on the occasion of Ram Navami. During his speech, Soren expressed his desire to maintain the tradition. “Yah Silsila Aur Bhi Mazboot Ho Jaye (May this tradition be stronger),” said Soren.
Soren appeared in the real Ram Bhakt today. He ended his speech by chanting "Jai Shree Ram" three times and made no political statement.
Earlier, Soren, accompanied by his party colleague and Rajya Sabha member Mahua Maji, reached Niwaranpur. He called on the participants of the parade to celebrate peacefully.
Earlier, before his arrival, four people were injured after the sound system collapsed due to the storm. All the injured were taken to hospital for treatment.
